​​​​​​​The EyePrintPRO technology involves taking an impression or mold of the eye's front surface (cornea and sclera) to create a highly customized and precise fit for the scleral lens. The process typically involves using a 3D scanner or molding system to create a detailed impression of the eye's surface, capturing its unique contours and irregularities.

What makes this device different is the process of how it is made and designed. The EyePrintPRO device is made from an actual impression of the eye and then this impression is scanned into 3D space, where proprietary software fits the virtual eye with extreme precision (7 microns of accuracy). There is no guessing with the EyePrintPRO. It is exactly designed for the patient's eye. Therefore, a disfigured eye, with bumps, scarring, and irregularity, will have a device that exactly fits all the bumps and irregularities. This not only increases comfort and minimizes complications but also in many cases, improves vision beyond what is attainable with other devices.

These large-diameter devices vault over the cornea and rest on the white of the eye (the sclera).
